Latin American and Carib​bean Economic Association New Latin American Economic History Network

The new task force on economic history will hold its first seminar on the 9th of November, the day before the LACEA meetings, also in EAFIT, Medellin.

The theme of this seminar is balance of payments and financial crises, their management and their implications for development policies. Please send proposed papers to ocampo.joseantonio@yahoo.com. Papers can be written in Spanish, Portuguese or English. The deadline for submission is June 30, 2016.

A meeting will be held at the end of the day on organization of the network, with those willing to participate in them. Check out the agenda ​of this event.​
